'HOME' is a short film created for Gunnersbury Park Museum’s ''People's Unite: How Southall Changed the Country''. Through a dancer at Southall Station narrating a symbolic train journey, the film explores a timeline of Southall’s history—from its struggles to present-day activism and vibrancy. Interwoven with my home footage, it reflects how Southall’s cultural legacy shaped my families creativity and heavy musical influence - id like to invite viewers to learn about the power and significance of west Londons history. Learning about Southall and connecting with the older generation killed my identity crisis, I hope I can encourage you to do the same.
